Make sure your laptop is connected with the HDMI cable into your laptop and the USB cable for the interactive pen (check at the bottom of article on how to use interactive pen function)
Either directly to the projector or connected into the extended ports on the wall. (Top: HDMI cable, Bottom: USB cable)
The Left cable is the HDMI cable used to project to the board, the right cable is the USB cable used for the interactive pen.
Make sure the Input for the projector is either set to HDMI 1 or HDMI 2, whichever it is connected into.
To change the display settings on how to view it rather same screen on extended you would press both the
Windows key icon + P or go into settings and type in "Display".
FYI, the Extended screen will not allow you to use the interactive pen as it does not support that function.
Interactive Pen use:
1. Make sure you have the USB cable connected into your laptop. If that port doesn't work try another one on your laptop.
2. The interactive pen must show a green light to show it's on.
3. With the projector on and everything connected, calibrate the pen by opening menu and selecting "Interactive".
4. Select "Auto Calibrate"
5. Let everything load back up, tap your pen on the board and there will be a blue arrow that will pop up, open it with the pen.
6. Select the computer with the mouse icon to start using the mouse function with the pen.
7. To draw, open the blue arrow menu once again, and select the pen icon.
